I was all set to opine on the disturbing free fall and state of the economy of India. It is more than just bothersome for someone who cares deeply about that country, its people and its what-was-supposed-to-be-bright future.

Then, the US government was forced to shut down. All because of the game of blackmail being played out by a small group of focused tea party lunatics who don’t care anything about the American people but just want to see Obama fail and Obama to go away.

Why worry about India’s future when America’s present is enough to give any sane person (an American person certainly) a debilitating punch in the brain?
